My formative years were spent in Newcastle and Sydney; and I currently reside in Tasmania, Australia.
In the 1960s I began my career in the entertainment industry as an actor and singer, performing in productions that ranged from Shakespeare to Cole Porter.
Currently, in association with my wife, Susan; we manage our own theatrical production company and technical consultancy firm.
I have also directed and designed numerous stage productions and have just completed a full musical and dramatic stage adaptation of Bram Stoker's Dracula, including a promotional full-length film.
It is now that I turn to writing my first novel.
