
Diane is a licensed school psychologist, writer, and comedian. She has worked in public education for thirty years. She began her career teaching students with social-emotional-behavioral challenges in a therapeutic day treatment program before pursuing a graduate degree in school psychology. She is a champion for teen mental health and believes humor has healing powers. She is also the author of First Generation Normal, a comedic memoir about growing up free-range to eccentric parents. She lives in Northern Virginia with her wife, Kim, and two dogs, Camp and Kona.
