David McCormack writes poetry and plays. He enjoys exploring themes and personalities from history. His play, Stalin's Final Statistic, was broadcast on Renaissance Radio. His poems have been published in a range of magazines and anthologies including Hearing Voices, The Cannon's Mouth, In the Beginning, Words for Speaking and Listening, and The Coffee House. He has an MA in Shakespeare Studies from the Shakespeare Institute, Birmingham University, and a Diploma in Acting. He was an actor and theatre director before becoming a lecturer in English, Creative Writing and Drama.
