Cynthia Herbert-Bruschi Adams, Ph.D., is a professor emerita from the University of Connecticut and a psychologist. She began writing by publishing academic works. This is her sixth commercial book. She lives near the location of this first murder and interviewed many of those directly involved including the murderer. The Farmhouse on Cemetery Hill Rd., The Portal, and Ah, Grace are her trilogy of New England horror.
