The author, South African qualified early childhood development teacher and mommy of two, was inspired to write an English alphabet book to help English and non-English speaking children to learn the alphabet in a fun and easy way. Living in France for a number of years, she identified a need for foreign speaking children to learn English. "I have a passion for teaching and creating fun and exciting ways to learn, and what better way to do this than through a colourful alphabet rhyme book."
