Charlotte Gilbertson is a veterinary surgeon and author of the new novel A Witch's Deceit, the first instalment of an intricate three-part series.

When she's not imagining new worlds in a land of fantasy fiction, Charlotte is working full-time as a small animal veterinary surgeon. She loves to run, write and brunch, and started writing her debut novel during her first year studying at Nottingham Vet School. Through her childhood, Charlotte was enthralled by the bittersweet stories of authors like Michael Morpurgo, and only hopes to enhearten a new audience with the story of her own perfectly imperfect character.
