Brooke Scarlett is a teenage writer living on the Central Coast of New South Wales with her parents, two sisters and a dog whose anxious attachment issues inspired some of the dragons in this book. She hasn't won any awards (yet) - unless you count school ones. Though, she doesn't. Stealing Thunder is Brooke's first novel of hopefully many more to come.
