Brendan Murphy was born into the Irish diaspora, returning
home to Ireland in 1996. He has lived in the Cooley Mountains
in Tullaghomeath, high above Carlingford Lough, since 1997.
As an international business consultant focusing on leadership,
organisational design and transformation, he has worked in
many countries and visited more, as an explorer of people and
places. His involvement in Ukraine extends back to 1998 and
he has unbreakable connections forged through friendship and
romance, of the usual kind. Since 17 March (Patrick's Day)
2020, Brendan lived in Irpin and explored Ukraine, until the
fateful day Russia attacked
