Belinda Copitch has a PhD in identity development, a subject on which she has spoken widely. She is trained as a biology teacher, and she divides her time between conducting social research and working as a supply teacher. She started her professional life as a dental hygienist and spent many years as a charity director. Her first book, Collaboration versus Competition in the Workplace, was aimed at the business market. This, her second, charts her research into autism. It is aimed at anyone who has autism, suspects they do or knows someone who does.
