
Azmeh Dawood (M.Phil, D.Phil, Oxon) lives in Amsterdam where she was recently chosen as one of the 750 Amsterdammers to be included in a celebration of the city’s history (I’mPossible Amsterdam). In March 2024, she won a Gold Medal for Poems of Truth and Integrity at Through the Golden Door, Singapore. In a life with Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis, twinned with family ostracism, she manages to cope with the global disaster where she lost her favourite nephew and younger brother and the difficulties of a progressing handicap, with the help of her two sons, Lehhaan & Sufy and her husband, Jonathan.
