Ann K. S. Thayre left Eire, the land of poets, at the age of seventeen. A busy full life did not leave time for writing, but now in retirement, she has put pen to paper. Though Ann did not attend university, a good education at a grammar school in Dublin, and parents who encouraged reading, have given Ann the courage to follow her dreams.
