Anita Lay is a debut writer who enjoys walking throughout the seasons. She describes herself as a walker whose creative energies are heightened when she’s out under the sky, doing what she loves best. Her thoughts and feelings find words and expression through the experience of the natural world, for which she has a keen eye. She is a retired assistant headteacher of a London secondary school and has taught English for over thirty-four years.
