Amanda Horwitz

Back in 1984, the author graduated with an English Honours degree from Wits University, SA. She went on to pursue a thirty-five-year career in journalism and advertising and created one of South Africa's first reality shows - Amanda's Topdogs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IQKdhrp8CM0.

She wrote columns and created cartoons for magazines, including Cosmopolitan and Style, and worked as a copywriter and creative director at international agencies including Leo Burnett, Saatchi & Saatchi and TBWA, Hunt/Lascaris. However, by far the most important job she's ever had is being Mom to three dachsies - Lulu, Frankie and Daisy.
