Alice Faith is the pen name for the author of Millie’s Marvellous
Mixture of Rhymes. Born in Leicester, she now lives in Dorset. She
studied languages at Oxford, then trained as a psychiatric nurse,
worked for a long time as a cognitive behaviour therapist, and
after that retired. When her family was young, she invented funny
stories and poems. They said they liked them. Now there’s time
to invent lots more! When not writing, she goes for long walks to
find butterflies and flowers, learns Latin and volunteers. She is
fussy about coffee and does not like matcha tea!
