
Prof. Dr. Abraham Karickam served for twenty-eight years at Mar Thoma College, Thiruvalla, Kerala, (affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University) first as a faculty member in the English Department and later as Principal. He was Chairman of English Board of Studies also at Mahathma Gandhi University. A Graduate of Bossey Ecumenical Institute (affiliated to Geneva University), he pursued Peace Studies at Eastern Mennonite University, United States. With over thirty-five years of experience in Interfaith Dialogue, he has authored eighteen books. His most important books are The Concept of Salvation in the Upanishads, The Bible and The Qur ‘An, Super Souls Revisited and The Analysis of Rhetoric Figures in the Indian and Western Traditions—A Linguistic Stylistic Study. Founder of “One Billion Youth for Peace” and Karickam International Public School, he organizes International Holy Books Conferences in different parts of the world at regular intervals.
