Maureen Petson

Raised in a small seaside town in County Dublin, Ireland. The author has lived there most of her life and raised a family. Growing up, she was told stories about how they got their last name but there was little evidence to back it up. After losing her father in 2018, she set out to see if these stories were true. The journey she was on was emotional and fascinating. It finally ended a chapter in her life when she found out where she was from and who had gone before her. She was determined to tell their story.
