In this collection of poetry, prose and reflective essays, Nicole Oldham takes you through her journey of lost love, lost family, lost identity and a youth blighted by Cystic Fibrosis. With short, sharp stabs of wisdom, intertwined with longer pieces, she paints her soul on the page and reminds us all that however fleeting love may be, it always feels real and it always hurts.

My name is Nicole Oldham, I was born in Athens, Georgia in 2001. I was born with a chronic illness called Cystic Fibrosis (CF). My entire life I've had a passion for writing and have always known I wanted to write a book. However, I did not know that my existence itself would one day turn into the words I write and release for the world to read. My dream in this life is to live in New York City where I will continue to find all the inspiration I need to live the life I've always dreamed of.
