The main character of the story is the ant, who in a witty and engaging manner teaches children about the way of life of an ant colony.
The life of an ant is presented as an example of selflessness and dedication, always putting the common good of the ant colony first.
Aside from learning about ants, through the story the children can identify with these tiny creatures and gain an awareness of the value and importance of every living being.
Community, friendship, wisdom, diligence, and harmony– alongside the children, the adults reading this story may also ask themselves whether we need anything more in life than these.
