The Pursuit of Vengeance, the debut novel of Jonathan Downing, is an action packed tale of violence, heists, murder and intrigue. On one cold Christmas Eve evening nearly thirty years ago, Officers Teddy Banks and Tommy Williams embark on a mission to take down two notorious bank robbers, the modern day Bonny and Clyde. Little did they know, their rash and violent actions would lead them down a path of pain and difficulty like they had never faced before. In the present day, hotshot detective, Anthony Carter, is on a deadly mission of his own: hunting down and capturing the infamous ‘Coastal Killer' - a vicious and devilish serial killer out to ‘overtake' the tallies of other sickening murderers in a bid to cement his own place in the annals of gruesome and bloody crime. However, the Coastal Killer's cunning has caught Detective Carter every step of the way.
