Edmond Grimwood

Edmond Grimwood is the pseudonym of Joaquim Cantarinhas, born in Lisbon on 14th of August 1974. After twenty years on the other side of the law, it was time to change. A runaway child who became the runaway adult; a controversial and mysterious personality; a man who doesn't know how to bring an end to the momentum initiated many years ago. Well known by police investigators, he decided to try another sort of fame. A hypocrite; an arrogant individual who, failing to understand himself and the way he walks, now writes accounts of what others are about and what they go through. Someone with an atrophied conception of someone else's virtues and abilities, treading in a world of good, if existed. The case of the stride that caught itself at its pace, crushing with its step, the man who wore the shoe.

About Book

There are no more valuable words than the words of philosophy and here follows a tale made of nothing else. It tells of the odyssey of a man who didn't recognise in himself the image the world sees when it looks at him. This particular is enough to cause within him what none of us can imagine and it's related through the pages of this book. The author employed no caution or moderation, imagining all the while the tale went on to be transposing limits that didn't exist but in his own mind. The result's a serious work about anything which the intellect may censor or not.
