About Book

Tsavo National Park in Kenya, is home to thousands of elephants. When wildlife documentary film maker Bob Saunders and his wife, Eve, visit the elephants, they are greeted with five human bodies. Despite being in the bush and miles inland, the men have apparently drowned in seawater.

Later, it is discovered that despite massive poaching, the number of elephants has increased by 25% in the area and across Africa. As the number of dead poachers rises, so does the population of endangered animals.

Is there a link between the deaths and the population increases? And what of the magnificent male animals who keep appearing but can't be photographed - or killed?

Bob and Eve decide to investigate. Who is the mysterious Gatekeeper and how is he involved? What is the ‘neutral zone' he inhabits?

The truth is astonishing and terrifying, a hideous warning of the outcomes of human activity on Earth.
