About Book

ABIEL has always wanted to prove something to the people around him. Raised from an affluent family, he lived an easy life until he was twenty-two, when he entered marriage. Like most young adult males, he was still in search of an archetypal male figure in his life. Not having a close relationship with his father, he turned into what pop-culture describes as the ‘epitome' of manhood.
As he got older, it became apparent to him that he had not been able to finish whatever he started and had nothing to bank on to support his own family. Abiel decided to re-enter university while selling merchandise door-to-door occasionally, so that he could make up for lost time and provide for the needs of his family.
At school he meets an elderly professor, MR. SY, who not only encourages him to pursue accountancy and become a CPA but also becomes his mentor, whose wisdom was shared with Abiel and extended beyond the course but also life in general. At first, Abiel couldn't fit his ideas into a system of complexities and order but discovers later on that what he was looking for is where he was looking from.
