The Sanctuary series continues with familiar characters on their journey to discovering new information about the universe they live in. William is supported by his wife, sisters and the rest of the royal family in unearthing his true destiny and what that would mean for him and his heir. In the meantime, Charles's behaviour troubles those around him as his anger and irritation take a toll on them, until William suspects an infection. Can they cure him in time?
While studying about the universe and his uncle's research into the Dimension War and the Golden Sceptre, alarming news about an old rival is reported that requires thoughtful and careful action on William's part with longstanding consequences.
