I was living a happy life; a classic student about to graduate in Publishing and Journalism. My last exam before graduation, with my thesis almost ready, was the exam of the English language. I was unable to overcome it the first time and not the second time either. I got stuck and thought: ‘How can I do the English exam if I don't know this language?' On my birthday, an Irish friend of my roommate was invited to a park in Rome. Not by me, we didn't speak for the whole party. The next evening my roommate told me she was an English teacher. I sent her a message on Facebook asking for help with the last exam, she accepted. I passed the exam thanks to her.

About Book

The Diaries of Martha and Murphy describe the day to day activities and thoughts of Martha and Murphy over little more than a six year period. The diary entries describe, with great honesty, the lives of two young university students: Martha in Cork and Murphy in Dublin. Murphy is a typical young man whose priorities lie in sex, drinking and partying. He seems to like Martha, although maybe not as much as she likes him. Martha is more dedicated to her studies and less sociable, but falls head over heels in love with Murphy.
Having met before Christmas 2018, Murphy and Martha finally meet again at the end of January 2019.
What will come of their relationship?
