About Book

Torn between her estranged parents and brought up by her vindictive grandmother, Ni'am is seen as a pariah in her village, an illegitimate child haunted by the whispers of her neighbours. When she leaves for the city to try to build a new life, a future, she is reunited by huge influences on her childhood... but will they bring a happiness in her life which has thus far eluded her? The Broken Face is a story of a lonely life of a young girl's battle growing up, loving and trusting...
