About Book

Tangled Tales is a colourful collection of epic poetry inspired by the author's study and observations of various reform institutions such as places of detention and psychiatric hospitals. Personal reflections on his own experiences of Spanish culture and cultural events are also a strong theme running through the collection. This can be seen in such poems as La Mascleta, Nit del Foc or La Boina.

Non-Spanish themes are found in the sorrowful Hopeful Regrets, the profound, complex Sides and the dark yet optimistic Felon, amongst others.

Finally, there is also some romantic verse epitomised best in the poems A Perfect Flight and Hopeful Regrets.
