In a future when the culture goal for perfect beauty is everything, even obsessional, has divided society into two categories; separating the beautiful from the ugly. Sub-categories within these two echelons, further ranks attractiveness and ugliness, based on an elaborate measuring system that takes into account every part of a person's physicality. This is a sensual, hedonistic world where aging can only end in exile.
Amidst this backdrop, sisters Affinity and Enamour seek their own way through the world - Affinity battles with the societal fear that accompanies her ageing breasts, whilst Enamour contemplates natural pregnancy in a culture which abhors its physical toll. Meanwhile, Affinity's husband, Summit, fights to survive in a female-dominated world, particularly the coup being organised by Brilliance, his attractive co-worker, while the young Essence plans to sell her virginity to the highest bidder, with optional extras for the right price, of course. It is clear that this pleasure-obsessed, beautiful future is anything but a utopia
