Her interests include drawing, painting, a variety of handicrafts, extensive reading, genealogy, walking, natural history and in recent years has developed a love of sailing.
English Lord James William Woodsworth appears to have everything he could possibly want, except for the love of his wife and the family he desires. His Lady, Amelia Jane, is the darling of English society. Life has brought her riches but not satisfaction.
December 1763, whilst travelling to America, they pause in Ireland where Amelia acquires Irish gamekeeper's daughter Branna McDonall as her Lady's maid. A hazardous voyage across the Atlantic Ocean and a placid sojourn in Philadelphia await them, before exploration of the wild frontier beckons. Will they get more than they bargain for when they meet the local people?
Prepare to be carried away by an epic tale of life changing occurrences and an abiding love lost and rediscovered in the Native American wilderness.
