It is over two thousand years since the Eldorans sent one of their own - Empas - to the planet Rega to found a universal pacifist religion which would alter mankind's evolution, vastly improving their chances for survival. But, though the Church spread worldwide, its message became corrupted under malign influences. Now the Regans are immersed in hatred and violence, rampant pollution, and vast population explosion.

As if that wasn't enough, a bio-nuclear mutation amongst sea creatures now threatens their very existence.

Into this maelstrom, the Director sends another - Christan, son of Empas - to discover what has gone wrong and try to put it right.

But he is faced by a deadly foe, who has spent millennia trying to undo the Eldoran's work and who now finds himself in a supremely powerful position. He is determined, either to enslave the world under his control, or completely destroy it.

And he really doesn't mind which alternative it is.

Colin Wheeler

Colin Wheeler lived in England's Home Counties, for most of his life, and currently resides in Suffolk, East Anglia. Grammar school educated, he spent most of his career in marketing, sales and advertising - both as a copywriter, and later, as an account director. He has also dabbled in graphic design and computer art over a number of years. Now retired from working life, he and his partner, Ann, spend much of their time in their beloved vegetable garden. He began writing novels as a ‘useful way of passing time' and hopes to complete many more.
