Ankia Scott

South Africa provided me with an idyllic childhood of wild exploration, fostering a great love for the outdoors, where shoes were reserved for church. The travel bug bit at eighteen, where following a year in the USA as an au pair for four beautiful children, I moved to the UK. The nature of my degree allowed for eighteen glorious months in New Zealand. I found forgotten summits, wild beaches and dense woodlands, the ideal locations for disappearing into the colourful worlds conjured up by my imagination. Putting pen to paper, and bringing these worlds to life, would only come later, after graduation.

About Book

The exhausted relief in both Kira and Adam's being upon their safe return to town, is short lived.

There was no denying the closeness of their bond, the special relationship which had deepened throughout their challenging experience, but something has changed. Their easy friendship has morphed into something more, the sparking chemistry between them undeniable.

Kira finds herself lost in a maze of inner conflict. Changed by their journey, she struggles to strike a balance between the memory of who she was and the reality of who she had become.
Trapped in town, frustrated with his inability to reach Kira, either physically or emotionally, Adam makes a rash decision.

Reeling from the shock of Adam's actions, Kira finds herself propelled back into the mountains, desperate to address the unanswered question of those abandoned ice screws in the crevasse, one question reigning supreme; ‘Will she find her parents?'
