Isabelle Howe

Isabelle Howe was born in 1960, raised in West Sussex and has lived there for most of her life. She is a successful mother and homemaker, raising her children and grandchildren, she has worked in this diverse world as a Revenue Accounts Clerk for an airline, a Pagan Chaplain for prisons, a Foster Parent, she has even been a Dinner Lady in a school. This is the first of many books she intends to write. She enjoys Yoga, growing organic food, and has more than fifty pairs of shoes (but it isn't a fetish!)

About Book

Phyllis follows the trials and tribulations of Phyllis' life from the marriage to a cruel and insensitive husband, focusing on the relationships she has with her children, spouse and family. It follows her life from the Indian Sub-Continent via England to Australia. She manages to break free from the confines of an abusive relationship and the novel follows her desperate and enduring battle on behalf of her children. The constant theme enduring throughout the whole story is the persistence of the human spirit to triumph over adversity, and the persistence and endurance of a mother's love over three decades.
