It is from these privileged experiences of working with individuals and families across the social spectrum in all aspects of family life that are the source of her inspiration to write.

Pheonix now lives close to the sea on Anglesey with her wonderfully supportive husband.
She has many varied interests but it is her beloved family that are, and always shall be, the focus of her life.

About Book

Do you believe in fate?

When 20-year-old Sydney starts innocently chatting to a stranger on a train to Edinburgh, she never imagined that it would open up a whole new world for her, filled with adventures, opportunities, and a chance to find herself. As she sets off to New Zealand with Paul, it's as if her life is beginning again. While her workaholic mother carves out her own path in the police force, Sydney embarks on a life of travelling, meeting new people, and making a new family.

It seems everything is finally going right for Sydney, but when her mother finds out that her own life isn't quite as rosy as it seems, both women's lives are put in danger. Everything Sydney knew, or thought she knew about herself, is up in the air. But is fate on her side?
