Off to the Beach

I was born in Essex but lived and worked in various different countries for twenty years, being both a mum to two boys and a part time EFL teacher. On our return to England in 1999 we settled in Hampshire where I eventually re-trained as an early years specialist, supporting both young children in nursery settings and adults on childcare courses as a childcare assessor for various colleges. In 2016 I moved to Leicestershire after the birth of my first grandchild and continued my nursery work as well as helping with childcare for my granddaughter. I now have a grandson as well so between them, they keep me on my toes. I have always been passionate about story-time with young children and encouraging a love for books and reading.
