Ana Sofia Lara

Ana Sofia Lara is a twenty-one-year-old student, based in Mexico City, Mexico. She is currently enrolled in a fashion major after dropping out of law school, which she attended for two years. Her passions have been reading, writing and painting for as long as she can remember, although her enthusiasm for poetry started when she read the work of William Blake in high school. She hopes to continue developing and working on her creative side from now on.

About Book

This collection of poetry by Ana Sofía Lara describes emotions regarding many different aspects of love and relationships. There is some anger and sadness, and some logical approaches to the difficulties of relationships and break ups.
The poems capture the emotions of the author discussing lost love, unrequited love and love of a person that they know will never be reciprocated. New relationships, existing relationships and relationships that she wishes could happen but maybe never will.
Poems about confidence, self-esteem and learning to understand yourself and your feelings, add to the collection too.
Powerful poems about emotional cries for help and support for other people make this collection both hard to read, and a joy at the same time."
