My Crazy Mama is all about the adventures that the pupils at the boarding school have. The adventures are described in the diary of Ellie and Jack who are twins who are at a boarding school together. Their mum has also recently been given a job there, as a teacher. Life seems fine, calm and most importantly, it seems usual.

Then something happens. Something that was unexpected, and something that leads to much, much more than expected. Though of course, through this all, Gwendoline always finds a way to make trouble. And sometimes, trouble leads to complete evil. Especially if you know Gwendoline. And everyone knows that when an evil person has the ability to kill everybody they want, there's a problem.

But does being evil mean that you will be evil to everyone? Even if it is your own brother, if it even comes to that? And most importantly, is an evil person just like a normal person?

(Gwendoline Mary Lacey character name credit to Enid Blyton, who originally created the character's name, Gwendoline Mary Lacey, in her series Malory Towers which was first published in 1946.)
