People have thrown away shoes and dumped empty boxes without a second thought. What if it turned out that there were actually people, very small people, taking residence in these?
Unbeknownst to the biggies, there is a whole community, living in the woods - with only foragers being brave enough to venture into biggie territory to find the necessities to feed everyone. Hiding from the biggies and avoiding them at all costs is an important rule that everyone must follow if they want to keep their community safe.
But what would happen if one day, someone was spotted by a biggie?
Follow the tale of two brothers, Josser and Mel, who despite all their arguments, are the best of friends. Josser is known for being grumpy, as his brother Mel never fails to point out. Who could blame him? He just wants to build a door for his new house under the oak tree - with no help at all. However, much to his dismay, he keeps getting interrupted with disturbances and dramas that him and his brother must help resolve.
Will Josser ever be able to finish building his door?

GG

My initials ‘GG' stand for Grumpy Grandad which is the name I was called by my grandchildren when they were of the best age to hear my stories and beg for pocket money, which they did. But I was telling my first Josser story long before they came along, when I was very young teacher trying to control a class in the East End without the aid of a big stick.

Storytelling was used as a kind of bribe. If they were good to me during their lessons, I would end the day with a story, making sure to be at the most exciting point when the bell rang. The class would go home wondering what might happen next, and saying I did that on purpose.
