This book by author Kristen Smith is a thoughtful and fervent piece of writing about the love mankind receives from God, and how we can improve our lives with the intent of growing towards this love. Through recalling Bible stories, interpreting verses and recounting tales from her own experience, Smith builds a vivid picture of the love of Jesus, his example, and why he is so worthy of our devotion. This centred account of life challenges and faith lessons is an excellent reminder to make the most of our gifts from God, to develop a better understanding of what it means to love, and to push ourselves so that we may find a fuller relationship with Christ, and a deeper satisfaction. Although the world may test us, this relationship, and our faith, will set us right.

Kristen Smith

Kristen Smith is both a writer and an elementary school
teacher. She has a Master of Education degree from King
University. She developed a love of writing when she began
her blog, "Spoken Truthfully". While she doesn't get to
spend as much time writing as she would like, she loves to
encourage her readers by reminding them of the
unconditional love of Jesus. She lives in the mountains of
East Tennessee with her husband, Jeremy; and daughter,
Rylie. When she isn't teaching or writing, she enjoys trail
running, hiking, spending time with her family, and sitting
on her back porch.
