About Book

In this series of short stories, the author, Manju Chaudhuri, takes us through many of the everyday struggles, heartaches and joys of ordinary people. In doing so, she firmly and clearly underlines how important family ties and a sense of belonging are, to all of us.

With a strong slant on the theme of triumph over adversity, strange yet beautiful coincidences, and happiness that emerges victorious from despair, these vignettes show the reader the real understanding of humanity and its pathos, which Ms Chaudhuri so clearly possesses.

This contemporary series of stories should be set as a textbook in mainstream English classes.
