Reba Rabaji

I'm a teenage girl from Lichtenburg, South Africa. It`s a small, farm town in the middle of nowhere. I started writing poetry when I was eleven. It turned out my poems were so good that my English teacher and my dad thought I should publish.

It was difficult fitting in at school, so I`d use writing as a "creative outlet'', though I never thought it would impact my life in a big way! Well, I`m glad I discovered my potential and went for it, and I want everyone who knows about this book to do the same!

About Book

Integrating modern life and everyday social situations: education, relationships and even knife crime, with nature: trees, bees and rain, this collection of modern poems roll easily off the tongue.
The poems ask as many questions as they answer.
Written in a current, narrative style, the poems are often about battles between the narrator and others, or even battles with herself.
There are lots of opinions on how someone should act, or react, and the narrator seems to put pressure on herself with her high self - expectations. Respect is a strong theme throughout.
