Stephanie Kiddar

Born in Jamaica, Stephanie Kiddar entered the British Civil Service and served in Jamaica and the Bahamas. Later, she worked as a Life Underwriter in Jamaica and Canada.

Stephanie Kiddar migrated to Australia in 1975 and changed careers; after completing a Diploma of Teaching at Sydney Teachers' College, a Bachelor's Degree at Macquarie University and a Master's Degree at the University of Sydney, she entered the teaching profession and worked until retirement.

She has travelled the world from the Arctic to the Antarctic and from Siberia to California.

To date, Stephanie Kiddar has two books to her credit: Fun Gryndingride, a novel set in Antarctica and Barbara Isabel, a biography in verse.

She now resides in Jamaica.
