Vietnam veteran and ex-secret service operative, Mike Davis, finds himself serving alongside an unlikely ally in a former Second World War Japanese commander aboard the Fuji Maru. When he unwittingly becomes embroiled in an attempt to abduct all fifty female contestants in a prestigious dance pageant scheduled for Tokyo it becomes clear that sinister forces are in play. Corrupt elements close to the US President have vested interests in the fate of the women as Mike's previously close relationship with the President and the First Lady provides a haunting backdrop.
