For too long, humanity has wrapped itself in a cloak of lies that have indoctrinated us into believing that having a family is a worthy endeavour. Our narrator, M'Lord Chook, shreds this cloak like an Eddie Van Halen guitar solo. We are given front row seats on a journey that takes everything we thought we knew about living with children and hurls it into a demonic woodchipper. In this tale of two parts, M'Lord guides us through every facet of the horrors endured in raising a family. From preparing for your spawn's arrival into the world, to an analysis into why having a pet is a much more rewarding experience than having children, this book lifts the veil on the realities of living with kids. A tale of unicorns and rainbows it most definitely is not. This story has teeth.

M Lord Chook

M'Lord Chook is a father of three on the wrong side of forty-five who has endured everything his family has thrown at him and come out the other side a stronger man. His interests include martial arts, war-gaming, playing guitar and bass and avoiding his brood like the plague. M'Lord lives in Adelaide, Australia, where he begrudgingly shares his home with his wife and son as well as a multitude of animals. He currently spends his time training a tribe of magpies to assist with terrorising the local gangs of feral children.
