The police force Ryan is a part of, is disbanded and a new section, the Inquisition, is put in place. Refusing to join the force has placed Ryan and his friend, Brad, along with their wives, in the crosshairs of the government. When their wives are targeted to be killed, the two friends attempt to escape to the remote areas, away from the government, and to obtain answers to their questions.

What they learn on their journey changes everything they thought they knew. A world run by dark essences which feeds off negativity and controls the lives of all people. A world where light energy is fading and needs to be restored if there is to be any hope for humanity. Ryan wants to protect his wife and ensure her safety but maybe he has a bigger role to play, a role he is yet to discover.
