Peter David

Peter David was born in Manchester, on the Curry Mile. He lived close to the centre, so that was his playground. He and his four brothers enjoyed their life in a three storey building full of hiding places. When he left school he served an apprenticeship as a plumber/pipefitter. This in turn led into instrumentation in the heavy construction industry. He then went on to work in the North Sea, live and work in London, Kent, South Wales and Yorkshire.

About Book

"Very harsh. Very cruel. Step out of line and you will be killed without a second thought."

How does a peaceful, long awaited holiday in the Lake District lead to an epic adventure in space?

Our hero leads a quiet, uneventful life. Things take a shocking turn when he unexpectedly loses his job. To give him time to think, he takes a peaceful walking holiday in a beautiful National Park when he is unpredictably abducted by aliens! He finds himself the only human slave on an unknown planet where brutality and death are the norm. Escape seems impossible until he manages to forge an alliance with some of the non-humans there.

With a deep desire to return to Earth, his resilience knows no bounds as he is thwarted at every turn by both menacing and loveable extra-terrestrials! The adventures which follow are filled with danger and terror but also with love and humour.

Will he ever make it back?
