Rob Frowen, winner of the 2017 Carer of the Year Award, opens up with refreshing honesty about the reality of caring for his son, Christopher. His intense love shines through the pages as he recounts the trials the two of them have undergone on this long and winding road together.
As a Carer Representative and devoted parent, Rob sheds light on both the extraordinary people who populate the mental health services and the complications of navigating an under-funded and frustrating system. And at the heart of it all are the people like the charming but troubled Christopher, striving to conquer their illnesses and reclaim control of their lives once and for all.
