Life can be a confusing mess of events.
When we look back on things; the places we lived, the people we knew, and the people we were, it can be difficult to make sense of it all. Nothing ever comes out cleanly, fully formed, our past alters our present and our present changes the way we see our histories.
This is Mike Delaney's story, the recollection of a single decision that would reshape his life and how he looks at the person he used to be. A single decision that sends waves through the history of a young man jostled between nightclubs and nursing wards, forced to come to terms with addiction and the silent lies that had plagued his youth. The decision that would save his life and encourage him to go on and do the same for others.
The decision to ask for help.
