Ms Abcel has had a career in education, journalism, administration and local government. She has had friends in the journalist community, both in the provinces and in London and has seen the way of life in these circles and its effects on people's relationships. In this narrative, she has brought together many of the individual interactions she has observed, into a story involving one woman and one man.
