I was living a happy life; a classic student about to graduate in Publishing and Journalism. My last exam before graduation, with my thesis almost ready, was the exam of the English language. I was unable to overcome it the first time and not the second time either. I got stuck and thought: ‘How can I do the English exam if I don't know this language?' On my birthday, an Irish friend of my roommate was invited to a park in Rome. Not by me, we didn't speak for the whole party. The next evening my roommate told me she was an English teacher. I sent her a message on Facebook asking for help with the last exam, she accepted. I passed the exam thanks to her.
