Jim Teeters is a retired social worker. He received his BA in Sociology from the University of Washington in 1962 and a MSW from the University of Hawaii in 1965. Jim has written and published poetry as well as published books on teaching methods. Currently, he volunteers for his local school district, teaches classes in a women's homeless shelter, and conducts poetry sessions for seniors. He and his wife Rebecca (now deceased) have traveled to over thirty countries and five continents. Jim offers these stories to awaken one's thoughts and feelings about wonder, danger, and shame.
