I began telling stories to my brothers and sisters about sixty years ago. I carried on when Listen With Mother finished, so our mother could have a longer nap. I wrote six of the stories in this book in 1988, but resurrected them during the first lockdown and wrote four more. I also took to writing poetry and typed up all my husbands hand written poems. My husband and I had just celebrated our ruby wedding anniversary when he died on the 1st of July 2018. I have one daughter, Samantha, two grandchildren, Cameron and Jessica, and a lovely son-in-law, Dean.
